How many different Fox Sports PPV games or channels is Grande going to be carrying this season? Last season there was only one Fox Sports PPV channel and I wasn’t able to view any of the Big 12 North match ups. Does anyone have any information on what Fox Sports PPV games will be carried by Grande?

Thanks for the comment/question Sid. According to our Director of Video Services we will carry all the content Fox will be offering. As of today, they have not released their schedule. Please stay tuned, we will post any updates.

Roberto:

Thank you so much for replying to my question on the Grande blog. My apologies for not responding sooner, I didn’t see the reply till today.
I wanted to be sure we are talking about the same thing; there was a press release back on 06/23/2009 about Fox Sports Network PPV carrying three Nebraska Cornhuskers football games on Big 12 Special Order Sports PPV.
Here is the web link: http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=1&SPID=22&ATCLID=3755220&DB_OEM_ID=100

My concern is this, last year the Texas games were on PPV at the same time the Nebraska games were on PPV. Since Grande only has one channel allocated to FSN PPV, obviously the Longhorn’s game was selected.
DirecTV, Dish, and U-verse all broadcasted both PPV options. On 09/05/09 6PM, the same scenario will occur. Texas plays ULM on FSN PPV and Nebraska plays Florida Atlantic, also on PPV.

I am trying to confirm that you will carry that game. I appreciate all your help, if you think speaking with the director of video services will help me; please send me his contact information.

My sincere thanks for your time and consideration,

Sid, we just got the schedule. The only 2 games that are available in Texas are:
September 5 (9/5): University of Louisiana, Monroe @ Texas: Available in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana
September 12 (9/12): Idaho State @ Oklahoma: Available in Oklahoma and Texas
The 9/12 Nebraska / Arkansas game will only be shown on PPV in Arkansas and the Nebraska / Louisiana-Lafayette game on 9/26 will only be shown on PPV in Louisiana.
Grande has no control over what is available on PPV and other providers will have the same limitations.
