What is HD?
HDTV stands for high-definition television and is a class of digital television above the rest providing a very high-resolution picture along with Dolby digital surround sound. Resolution refers to the clarity of the images based on the number of lines and pixels on the screen. For example, the images on an older 4:3 screen is typically divided into 480 lines. But, an HDTV screen with 1080 lines is six times clearer. With HD, you can experience theater-quality sights and sound in your own home!
